I always look for something positive to say about a book The best I can say is that I finished Wyoming Bold The cover and title are exciting than the story inside If you've been satisfied by the uality of books Diana Palmer has written over the past decade then you'll probably enjoy this one For me it was another disappointment There's not much romance or suspense Merissa and Dalton aka Tank instantly fall in love with no real obstacles to keep them apart Tanks spends just as much time with other characters as he does with Merissa I recognized all of the secondary characters but was still overwhelmed by two states full of past characters The suspesnse was flat The climax scene had the potential to be teriffying but like most of the book the writing style tells instead of shows Carson needs his own series where everyone else is secondary characters as once again he saves the day while the hereo stands helplessly byThis book is die hard fans onlyI was given an ebook copy of this book in exchange for an honest review Thank you to Harleuin and Net Galley for the opportunity

Former border agent Dalton Kirk thought his life was over literally when a gang of smugglers left him for dead Defying all odds he survives his ordeal and returns to his Wyoming ranch ready to dedicate his future to a peaceful home on the range Until lovely Merissa Baker knocks on his doorMerissa is well aware of her reputation as the local eccentricshe knows things before they happenand she's had a vision that Dalton is in danger Even though her beliefs clash with Dalton's cowboy logic she's determined to save the handsome rancher she's secretly loved foreverVisions? It's all ridiculous to Daltonuntil things start happening that prove Merissa right And now Dalton is not the only targetso is Merissa Can Dalton be bold enough to trust the unknown? Is this Wyoming man ready to love?

Just didn't work for me Why ?Merissa and Tank instantly fall in love insta love There are no real obstacles the romantic chase is not there A virginal outcast Sigh There were so many side characters I was over whelmed and miffed that the main couple spent so little time with each other The suspense was flat line I love the cover it is beautiful I just did not care for the story inside The idea of the two characters was uniue but never panned out as I hoped I must admit I have not read any of the other books in this series so I can't compare them This is also my first time reading this author

This is the third book in the Wyoming series This book can be read as a stand alone book as the books are not dependent on each other The Wyoming series is about the 3 Kirk brothers and how they find love The third book Wyoming Bold is the story of the youngest Kirk brother Dalton or as he is known by his family Tank I loved loved loved the first two books in this series – they each have had very different story lines but both had hooks that kept you interested the entire read This book was no different The story line characters and the added suspense will have you devouring this book in record time If you enjoy characters who are a little different you will enjoy the meek and mild character of Merissa Her innocence is refreshing Tank’s caring protective attitude will make those of us who enjoy a strong hero swoon There is a balance between romance and suspense throughout the entire book Tank and Merissa’s developing love is beautifully intertwined with elements of suspense and mystery – you will be on your toes from beginning to end I dare you to read and not catch the “who done it” syndrome I also enjoyed how characters from Palmer’s other books made special guest appearances It added to the charm factor and added another layer in her on going saga There are some scenes that maybe intense for some readers – mystery murder attempted murder – are all themes you will encounter throughout the bookCharming heartwarming mysterious suspenseful – this book has it all You will not be disappointed with one single page I promiseRating 5Heat Rating SweetReviewed by A LynCourtesy of My Book Addiction and More

Very disappointing From the almost nonexistent old fashioned romance to the full of potential suspense that not only was blotched and had many incoherences but also ended up on a cliffhanger That's right a cliffhanger

Wyoming Bold is the third book in the Wyoming Men series and continues telling the story of the Kirk brothers focusing on the youngest brother Tank The mystery is centered around the rogue DEA agent that attempted to kill Tank when he was serving in the US Border Patrol The agentassassin is trying to tie up some loose ends and Tank is one of those endsThe heroine in this book is a psychic neighbor of the Kirks that shows up one night during a snowstorm to warn Tank that his life is in danger She is the standard Palmer heroine virginal and a bit of an outcast The usual conflict between the Hero and heroine are missing in this bookDiana Palmer is an accomplished writer with a good editor which is evident in Wyoming Bold but she is a formulaic writer Her books tend to have similar plots and characters Fortunately for me her formula is like a familiar old robe; comfortable and reassuring I found this to be an enjoyable easy bookARC provided by the publisher via Netgalley

Another great book in the Wyoming men series these first three books with these tough sexy alpha cowboys but they meant their match when they meant their woman But I was worried when Merissa Baker first went and talked to Dalton Kirk because I thought he would like every one else not believe her because of her powers I didn't think he would take it to heart till he started putting the pieces together and realized she saved his life but I knew he was hooked on her from the start can't wait to read books by Diana Palmer and in this series

This is the third Kirk brother to fall in love while solving an FBICIA mystery There were tense moments in the story I love the way Palmer weaves in characters from previous novels

25I have read several books by Palmer of which I enjoyed so when this book came up for review I certainly reuested itThe book starts off strong Dalton Kirk or Tank is the main character that the book follows He has several brothers that were mentioned and made some appearances in this book One was named Mallory Seriously? I've heard of Leslie or Marion but Mallory for a maleRidiculousI think Palmer is a good romance novelist Her work is done well and I will continue to read her books but this one in particular I found her weakest as far as writing The mystery behind the novel wasn't done well I'm saying that some people have strengths in areas and weaknesses in others and I find that mystery is not Palmer's strength I found and felt that Palmer hashed through certain descriptions and conversations to the point where I asked myself several times if I have read his section before She would mention something in the dialogue only to have it re stated almost word for word at a later time It felt redundant and a little confusing It was confusing to me because as the reader I felt I already knew that and there wasn't enough space in between sections for me to have forgotten the information I suppose Palmer was trying to keep the reader informed and kept up with the mystery of the book but really I felt coddled Luckily Palmer kept up the romance in this book The relationship between Dalton and Merissa was fast but I thought they fit well together I liked how Palmer added in some scary situations and some stolen moments with these two characters It was nice to know that Palmer kept up the romance and didn't strictly keep to the mysteryI have not read another book in this series Because of that I had some feelings and opinions of this book that can be explained by this book being a part of a series Not having known that I felt the book had a lot of characters At times it was hard to keep up with everyone and their roles statuses and value to the story I felt Mavie the supposed housekeeper was a useless character She offered no value to this novel but perhaps does in the other books in the series I also felt that having a secondary character inform the reader of Dalton's accident would have been better coming from his perspective I would have liked to have seen interaction with Dalton and Merissa This accident would have been a nice set up for some romanceTowards the end there was a very weak transition I felt Palmer to be a better writer than this and so it caught my attention when I saw it Back in TexasI liked the secondary romance or hint of a new romance between the secretary in Texas and Carson I was intrigued by his character and would be interested in reading their book However the ending of this book is taken up by sample of Mallory's story Again with the name Ugh This sample is 20% of this book Overall I think this book would be best not as a standalone Had I read of the other books in the series I might have not been so confused with all the characters in Wyoming Bold While the writing could have been better I feel this book was ok I would still recommend it to fans of Palmers I would still recommend it to romance readers I received this book from Netgalley

I miss the days when a western romance meant cowboysbare chested cowboys on horses with a rifle And I’m not talking historical romances either Now western romances are mostly all about very rich men with the resources of an army career behind them Nary a horse a cow or a bare chested cowboy to be seenDiana Palmer is a new author to me and I see she has many followers This made me confident that I would enjoy this read I also thought that this would be a book in this series that I could just jump into since most authors do a pretty good job of catching a new reader up to snuff but I had a lot of trouble with this book There is really no back story and there are so many secondary and tertiary characters all with shadowy past that I couldn’t seem to keep everyone straight and that detracted from my enjoyment of this novelThis should have been a great read The synopsis made it sound like it would be uniue and fresh but the story had so many flaws that I uickly became disenchanted with it and had a difficult time finishing this bookThis was a very sweet and very non sexual story action driven than anything else The idea of Merissa being somewhat psychic coming to warn a man she is so obviously frightened of and then falling for him while all hell is breaking loose was interesting However I felt that the writing was a little clumsy and the story while certainly interesting to a point –left me wondering just how this could have been considered a romance The romance took such a back seat to the mystery that I don’t think it should be considered a romance If it wasn’t for the obvious way that we were going to get a HEA it would have just been mysterysuspense There wasn’t even a lot of action since most of the book was spent simply discussing over and over what was going on and what might happen in the near future and what all the men had happen to them in the pastThe author may not have researched things to well either since I did catch at least one glaring error on the protocol of firearms and airlines But no biggy right? What was a problem was how these so called espionage experts had been played the fool time after time Even a ‘civilian like me could see what was going to come next and I have no army training or police training what so ever On a side note we end with this little gem SPOILERISH Apparently the politician who was setting this all up is named Matt Helman interesting choice of names is it not?ARC Supplied by Publisher
