25 stars “She’s your wife She loves you She’d never cheat She said she’ll belong to you for eternity”GJ First off we have to say we love Elizabeth Reyes Her writing is flawless and her characters brilliantly written with such depth and we fall in love every time The Moreno Brothers was our first series by this Author which we began reading back in 2011 and we still have fond memories of all the characters and the series as a whole We’ve always had a real soft spot especially for Romero and his book was probably our favourite in this series So to say we were excited for Tangled was an understatement as we would be back with our bad tempered gorgeous alpha male and his sweet and head strong Izzy Tangled started off great; we were loving being back with the Moreno crew and catching up with our favourite couple It felt like coming home to a big family we’d sorely missed So it’s gutting to say that as the book went on we became and frustrated and felt increasingly dejected Despite the flawless writing and being back with Romero we just didn’t enjoy this novella There wasn’t really much of a story to speak of It felt like two hours reading about one misunderstanding and one strangely kept secret which everyone knew about pretty much except the one who deserved to know the most It felt somewhat odd and we have to admit to feeling frustrated Izzy told us of an uncomfortable flirty relationship with her Employer Elliot of which we saw no real hard evidence of but were forced to accept and believe without experiencing it with her This was not the Izzy we remembered Romero was almost treated like a second rate person and albeit with sweet and good intentions it felt really uncomfortable as Elliot knew the big secret despite being the main instigator and crux of the misunderstanding Was it hormones? Well whatever it was it felt uite uncomfortableRomero our jealous possessive guy was the one saving grace; he was no different to what we remembered though he had softened his edges somewhat He’s a brilliant character and we still love him dearly He loves and protects his family and the scenes with his kids were lovely and heartfelt We felt so sorry for him in this story as he was kept in the dark and made to look like a bit of a fool in our opinion Perhaps the balance was off? Who knows?Sadly; for us this is one of those occasions where we just don’t understand the intention behind a book There was no real new story to tell Rather; it was a circumstance and it felt forced Such a bloody shame and we feel heart broken over this as we love this Author and her characters We know we will probably be in the minority on how we felt about this story but sadly Tangled just didn’t work for us What we’ll take from it is the love of the Moreno clan and our happy re visit with Romero ARC kindly received for an honest review

Eeeeep It felt so good to reunite with some of my favorite characters for the holiday season I have been a fan of Elizabeth Reyes for a few years now and every time one of her book comes out it's a SUEE fest at my house I'm happy my husband is happy not because he reads the books but because I'm not around to bust his chops lol and most of all I get to fall in love with new characters or reconnect with the ones that have already stolen my heartRomero Romero Romero He's a real FIREBALL Yup Our papasote is not only a hot tamale but he's super intense as well When I first read his story which is the forth book in The Moreno Brothers series I was pleasantly surprised by him I started to connect with him in the previous books and by the time he got his own story I felt like I understood him Romero is DIFFERENT And that's what I absolutely love about him He's far from being perfect but that's what makes him the uniue and memorable character that he is I was so happy to learn that we were going to check in with Romero and Izzy They have a special place in my heart and I could not wait to get some much needed RomIzzy updatesA few years have passed since Romero and Izzy got married and they have two beautiful children Izzy has been taking care of the kids and her teaching career has been on hold Now that the kids are older she takes a step towards her teaching career As the days go by Romero can't shake the feeling that Izzy is hiding something What sets his blood on is how close she got to Professor Banderas Will he be able to deal with this unexpected situation or will his old temper come back and take control of him?I absolutely loved this novella I am so proud of the way Romero and Izzy resolved this whole ''Izzy going back to work situation Romero's not really happy about it but Izzy is his life and he wants to see her smile be happy He would do anything for her and he grew so much from the hot tempered person that he was when I first met him The communication between a couple is very important We could see that a few lies even if they were told with no bad intention could cause a lot of trouble for a couple What I liked the most about this novella is that it's so easy to relate to what Izzy and Romero went through It does not mean because we have found ''The One'' that everything will be easy peasy in the future They had to overcome some obstacles that neither of them expected but they did it TOGETHER which is the most important thing I had a blast reading Tangled I was so happy to reunite with The Morenos and my heart absolutely melted for one of Elizabeth Reyes' alphas I won't tell you which one but you will totally swoon just like I did when you read a specific mall scene between Izzy and Mr Swoon Gah I wish all of Elizabeth Reyes' characters would get their own novella I can't get enough of them and of her beautiful and unforgettable stories I give Tangled by Elizabeth Reyes 45 fun fast paced sexy stars

I decided to read this bc I was a fan of Romero and Izzy It was nice to see them as adults and parents However this story had the same problems that all the stories Elizabeth Reyes writes have and that is that it is bogged down in minutia It was so annoying that every word and gesture was the focal point of the conflict There are lengthy explanations about what someone was doing and saying and no real story I felt like this could have been a shorter story Plus Izzy decides to go back to work but then weeks later decides she is fine staying at home I was disappointed that with her education she just wanted to be a stay at home mom This did not sound like the Izzy I thought I knew
