The stories in this collection offer an excellent glimpse into the world of Magic the Gathering Each story takes place in unique and detailed lands with fun and original plot lines When compared to the previous MTG anthology Tapestries , this book seems darker andmature, with a greater level of depth to the storylines and characters I enjoyed it much , and look forward to reading the other anthologies. As with most of the MTG books, prior knowledge about the game is not necessary to The stories in this collection offer an excellent glimpse into the world of Magic the Gathering Each story takes place in unique and detailed lands with fun and original plot lines When compared to the previous MTG anthology Tapestries , this book seems darker andmature, with a greater level of depth to the storylines and characters I enjoyed it much , and look forward to reading the other anthologies. As with most of the MTG books, prior knowledge about the game is not necessary to enjoy and understand the book

Good and fairly memorable collection of stories Some were too short and just filler, but the vast majority were quality pieces.
